Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park Hiking Map No.4 of 6 Highmoor: Giant's Castle to Kamberg to Mkhomazi (including Highmoor)
This 4th map in the series of 6 unique, superbly drawn and highly detailed
very large scale hiking maps of the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park covers the area
from Giant's Castle in the north west section of the map to Highmoor in the
east, Kamberg in the south east and Lotheni and Mkhomazi Wilderness area in the
southern section of the map. These maps are absolutely unique and difficult to
find. No-one intending to wander the Drakensberg Highmoor: Giant's Castle to
Kamberg to Mkhomazi can afford to be without this map.
The maps numbered 1 to 6 are for the different regions in the Ukhahlamba Drakensberg Park with hiking map number 4 ( Highmoor: Giant's Castle to Kamberg to Mkhomazi) covering the mid section of the Drakensberg Mountains.just below Giant's Castle Game Reserve. The map shows contours at 20m intervals, heights in metres above sea level, tops of passes, trig beacons, peaks and heights. In addition the maps shows paths, major and minor as well as "other" including those paths which are not recommended to be travelled. The scale is 1:50,000 (2cms = 1km).
This map number 4 is dominated by the Mkhomazi Wilderness area.
The region covered by the map ends at the Loteni and Vergelegen sections which are continued in map 5.
